You may not reproduce, redistribute, or republish any content from this site without prior written permission, except where explicitly stated otherwise (for example, sharing a blog post link is welcome).
Products & Purchases
PDF edition — PDF purchases of Empowering the Educator Within are for personal and professional use only. The PDF may not be shared, resold, or redistributed. It is licensed to the individual purchaser. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; prices are in Canadian dollars. Because the PDF is a digital download delivered right away, all PDF sales are final, except where a refund is required by law. If your download link doesn't work, email us at education@shalabooks.com and we'll make it right.
Physical books — print copies are sold through Amazon and are subject to Amazon's Conditions of Use. We have no control over Amazon's fulfilment, returns, or pricing.
Consulting
Consulting and professional development services are arranged directly with us. The scope, fees, and schedule for each engagement are confirmed in writing before work begins, and that written agreement governs where it differs from these terms.
Educational Content
The book, blog, podcast, vlog, and other resources on this site are provided for general educational purposes. They are not a substitute for your own professional judgment or for advice specific to your school, district, or students.

Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be handled by the courts of British Columbia, including the Civil Resolution Tribunal where eligible, except where the consumer protection laws of your place of residence give you the right to bring proceedings there.
