CVCC EMERGENT READERS

SHORT 'A'

Our CVCC Short ‘A’ eBooks introduce young readers to words with the following endings: ack, amp, and, ang, ank, ash, ast & ath, giving them practice reading new word forms while presenting young readers with new vocabulary. One page displays the CVCC (consonant-vowel-consonant-consonant) word and an audio button while the facing side shows a picture, helping young readers to understand the meaning of the word while clicking on the audio button to hear the word. The Short ‘A’ eBooks are printable and children can read them as flipbooks with illustrations or view them as flash cards.
