CVCC EMERGENT READERS

SHORT 'U'

Our set of Short ‘U’ eBooks introduce new readers to consonant-vowel-consonant-consonant (CVCC) words with these endings: uck, ump, ung, unk, ush, usk & ust. Young readers’ audio, visual, and phonetic skills are all engaged in learning how to read with Shala Books. The word and audio button lie on one page, and the illustration faces them on the next page, creating an enjoyable and visually appealing reading platform for young children who are learning how to read. Our eBooks are printable and may also be read as flip books or flashcards, giving early readers two different learning opportunities in one language platform.
